Willow is a 10-month old hound/terrier mix. She was found by a passerby limping along the side of the road. It turns out, she was likely hit by a car. Willow was taken to the vet where it was found she had a compound fracture and would need surgery on her right leg. Since there are no vets in Knox County who perform orthopedic surgery, Willow was taken to MedVet. Dogs of Knox Fund was able to cover the cost of the surgery to repair her leg. Willow is currently recuperating in a foster home. Once she is healed and ready, she will be placed for adoption.
