How can you help?
We are so glad you asked.....
Can you spare 2-4 hours a week?
Do you need a reason to make yourself get some physical activity?
Do you love dogs?
.....If your answer is yes to any of these questions....a good way for you to get involved may be to volunteer as a dog walker at the shelter! As a dog walker, you will walk, socialize and exercise the shelter dogs. You may also show dogs at adoption and fundraising events. What a fun way to get in your own physical activity and help the local dogs in need!
If you are interested, you can click the link below and complete a volunteer application. After you submit your application, a volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you to schedule training.

If walking dogs isn't a possibility for you, you may still be able to help in other ways.
Are you able to pick up kennel blankets and launder them?
Are you able to bathe dogs at the shelter?
Are you able to help clean the kennels and the outdoor runs?
.....If your answer is yes to any of these questions....a good way for you to get involved may be to volunteer to help launder kennel blankets or clean kennels.

If you are unable to make a commitment to walk dogs or volunteer at the shelter, you still might be able to help.
Do you have a current valid driver's license?
Do you have reliable transportation and insurance?
Are you available for a few hours on occasion?
.....If your answer is yes to these questions....you may be able to volunteer to transport shelter dogs to their rescue and/or foster home.
